Xbox 360 advice question
I am getting the itch to buy a 360. I need some input from you guys. I am trying to move away from only playing sports games and again start playing a mix of different types of games.

Re: Xbox 360 advice question
Depends on what you like. Shooters are the console's best genre right now with Call of Duty and Ghost Recon out and then Gears of War, Rainbow Six Vegas and Call of Duty 3 coming out soon. Splinter Cell is also in there but it is a spy game, less action than a normal shooter.
If I had to pick two I would pick Marvel Ultimate Alliance and whichever of Gears of War, Rainbow 6 Vegas and Call of Duty 3 turn out to be the best. MUA is a ton of fun, an action-RPG(mostly action) even for novice or non-comic fans. All three of those shooters should set new standards for 360 shooters, read some reviews in the next couple of weeks and pick which one sounds most entertaining to you. -

If you're into RPG's then Oblivion is a must have. For action and adventure Dead Rising is also a must have, awesome game. Racing titles are also the 360's strong points as well. PGR3 is incredible.
Keep in mind that 90-95% of all next gen games will be on both the 360 and PS3 systems.Comment

Re: Xbox 360 advice question
Oblivion is great. Dead Rising is also awesome (although you could get by with a rental because there's no multiplayer (there is a lot of replayability though)). Gears of War is looking like a must-own, and there are some other good shooters coming out like RB6 and FEAR (already out).
PGR3 and Table Tennis are a couple of older (now cheaper) titles that I've had a lot of fun with.
If you're into GTA-type games, Saint's Row is a great next-gen version of GTA. It's basically a rip-off of GTA but it's well done.
If I had to pick two, I'd go with Obliviion and Gears of War.XBL: TancComment
