Rare did a really great job on the presentation of this game. I'd forgotten what a bright, colorful, happy environment looked like since abandoning the Nintendo camp 5+ years ago. This game is just awesome.

There goes dads playing time on the 360. All 3 kids played boocoo hours with Viva today. From 9:30 am till 11:00pm, with maybe a rest here and there.

Fun game, but I got a bit overwhelmed early on.

I don't know if this happened for everyone, but within one hour I definitly had nearly 15 animals visit my garden and I was running around like crazy trying to keep them.

Now, I got that fox thing to stay and he wants to fight with every pinata there. He's killing my food chain. I had a mouse come in for my serpent and the fox killed the mouse before the serpent could get to him. I can't even type into words how aggravating that was to me.

What is everyone doing to raise money? My simple solution is planting and selling the plants, but it doesn't raise money fast enough for me to buy the things I need.

Ive got a fenced in area for CHILI peppers. I plant as many as I can at a time, water/fertilize them with the red fertilizer. Easiest way I found to make quick money. I done it a few times to get my cash flow going. I've got quite a few trees that do pretty good. I also sell off any pinatas I dont want, or if I start getting too many of one kind.

I've got two horses, a monkey to add to my garden now. Just trying to get a beaver next. I don't think my garden can expand anymore I'm near the Sour's home now.

Don't the chili peppers make all the pinatas start fighting? I had a few chilis planted and all the pinatas who came near them fought non-stop. My medical bills went through the roof.

I haven't had that problem, but I do have the chili's inside a fence.

You're getting chili's confused with thistles.

That could be it. So chilis don't cause any problems?

I did notice my doctor bills getting higher after planting about 20 chilis, not sure if they're tied together or not. I think I'll have to build a fenced in area for them.

This one of the most addicting games I've ever played. I'll fire up the 360, thinking I'm only going to play for 30 minutes or so. Two hours later...

That's me. Last week I'd say I'm quitting at 10:00 to go to bed, next thing I know it's 10:25. So I say 10:30, before I know it, its 12:00 AM and Im still playing.

                          So thistles cause fights?

That's really good to know. I thought it was just that damn fox, but now that I think about it my pinatas have been fighting and getting sick ever since I started planting thistles.

I'm building a fence to guard some of my plants.

Would the seed guy help you out if you keep them fenced in? He's done a really nice job in helping me grow my plants. He does all the watering. I never touch them.

The seed guy doesn't water your plants (I don't think). There is a Waterling (or Waterer or something like that) who you can hire to water your plants and I'm pretty sure she will open the fence to get to the plants. You still have to keep an eye on trees though because sometimes she will not water them enough and they won't bear fruit.

Maybe it was the rain that did the job.

I water the plants every now and then anyway just to make sure.

I haven't seen trees yet. I honestly don't have much money to explore the store so that's probably why.

Talk to the seed guy. He will give you a free seed every time you talk to him. He also gives you some of the more rare seeds that you can't buy in the store. Also, I don't think you have to water the plants once they are done with their growth phase.
