All kidding aside, i do know a few who arent into the Zelda series, but don't 'hate' it.

As far as series, Zelda and Metroid are my all time favorites. Is there any particular reason why you don't like Zelda?

I love Zelda.....but I'm not a big fan of the new Metroid games. They just don't do it for me, not like the original

My gaming goes back to the Atari 2600 days, and I have never played a Zelda game and have no desire to do so. Nintendo's first party flagship titles like Zelda and Mario just don't do it for me.

I think their are a lot of people who don't like Zelda, but don't talk about it, we just ignore the game and don't try to rain on the parade of the millions of people who do like it.

Unlike the haters of other ultra popular series' like Final Fantasy, Metal Gear, Halo, etc, Zelda haters just kind of shrug their shoulders and say "Whatever"

I played the orginal on my NES back in the 80's...never played another...I liked the original, but I have never wanted top pick up another nintendo console to play Zelda....I don't hate it, just don't have any interest.

I pretty much feel the same way as jdros. I'm sure the wii version will be a great game but its not enough to make me want to buy the wii and zelda.

Same here. Though I may eventually get the Wii for other reasons.

I think I have played and not finished every non Gameboy Zelda release. I just can't see it through.

I used to be a Zelda skeptic and thought it was overrated until I played Ocarina of Time long after its original release and then felt foolish for never picking it up. Before that I had played all of the others, but never to completion. Wind Waker was a step back for the franchise as it wasn't even remotely challenging and the constant fetch quests sucked. Twilight Princess looks great though and has a lot of editors and reviewers calling it the best launch title ever.

There was a 3DO version of zelda? I had a 3DO for awhile but I don't recall that! Of course I just bought it for Madden pretty much so...

Ahh ok... you know a lot of times people "hate" things because they are so popular they get sick of hearing "such and such is so great" and all. But sometimes there is a reason for the public to say such things. In Zelda's case there is no real reason to hate because it is a series that lives up to and often exceeds the admittedly ridiculous hype.

I've played all the Zelda games except for the Phillips crap versions. I have enjoyed every single one of them, except I really didn't care too much for the art style of Wind Waker. I never completed both N64 versions and Wind Waker all the way through like the rest of the NES and SNES versions. I plan with the Virtual Console when the N64 versions become available to pick them up and play those again.
