Anyone using the MS Wireless Headset for the 360?
I'm on the fence here, trying to decide if I want to drop the cash for a wireless headset. The wireless controller is great, but the wire dangling from the controller to my head annoys me. From what I've read, it's pretty good, with some isolated cases of it cutting on/off.

Well I picked it up at GameStop, guy said they were selling pretty well here. There was 1 left on the shelf when I grabbed this one.
Before charging I tried it on, and it's very comfortable. First charge takes 4 hours, so I'll try it out late tonight, or tomorrow. For me if the sound is right, it's well worth it to get rid of wires altogether. Battery life is good for 8 hours or so it says in the manual.Comment

Re: Anyone using the MS Wireless Headset for the 360?
I have one here are some of the pros and cons I have in the little bit I've used it:
Pros-
-Its wireless!
-Very comfortable
-Volume Control is much better as was mentioned
Cons-
-For some reason I'll be playing and all of a sudden it'll go out for a minute and I'll hear my teammates through my TV speakers, no idea what causes this and its never longer than just a few seconds at a time.
-The people I play with say it makes you sound quieter and gives off feedback, I'm assuming the quiet is due to the mic isn't all that close to your mouth.
-Price, $60 is a lot, if I didn't have a gift card to Best Buy I doubt I would've picked it up.
Overall I definitely like it more than the wired one, just wish I knew why it cuts out at times, and I wish it didn't make you seem quieter to everyone (although like I said the mic isn't as close to your mouth so thats why), not like they can barely hear you or anything though they still can hear you fine just not as loud as usual.Favorite Teams:

Re: Anyone using the MS Wireless Headset for the 360?
Cons
-The 2 earloops provided doesnt fit everyone. Should of packed another "bigger" one.
-Length of signal is pretty weak IMO. The 30ft are about 6 once u're at home.
-Sometimes if you turn it on once u're already in a lobby or game. The headset will link itself to the 2nd controller port even if u only have 1 controller connected.
-In GOW in between rounds my friends can't hear me and vice versa.
-Sometimes u're voice if sounds scratchy or robotic to others even though u haven't used different voice mask.
This could be so much much better. 7/10 rating. More people have had more serious problem were the headset doesnt work at all. Or too much interference. Check out xbox.com forums.Sirius "U"
