I see your point, but I think you are making this too simplistic. As many people know, the law is open to interpretation.

Cj has posted many times that he's going to trade in the 360 for a PS3 next year, so arguing with him or trying to make a point is useless. I know your disappointed with MS and the 360, but I really don't think they intentionally made bad systems.

That doesn't mean I hate the 360, I love it. I'm mainly a Sports gamer, with some shooters in between, and there are more options sports games wise with the PS3. Me wanting the PS3 for sports games, has no bearing on what I am saying. What I said goes for Sony, MS, etc.

Other than baseball how does the PS3 offer better sports games? I never understand why people say that. WHo knows MLB2k7 could make a great game next year.

I'm pretty sure the MS warranty transfers to your new console that MS sends back to you. So, if you had 6 months left on your MS warranty that 6 mos. would be applied to your replacement console.

Yes, your covered for 2 yrs on returning the system as many times that it breaks. It transfers.

Arlight. Thanks guys. I should of just got the warranty throught them the frist time. I bought the CC one and it is only good for one time and it takes just as long to get a another system. You can't return it at the store.

Bates, Acid.. you can keep your HDD when you do the exchange, and everything else will be smooth. I would personally do the exchange.

Only bad thing that happens, if you have any silver accounts, they no longer will have access to any XBL Arcade games you've previously purchased, as well as you won't have access to them when not connected to Live. It sucks, but there's no work around either.

Hmm, I think I might go out right now and get a new 360 then while it's still under warranty.

An expensive video game system. We bought this thing why? To play games, when it stops doing that less then a year in because of something MS did or did not do they are liable to fix it, it is that easy. I know this for a fact.

Such a simple formula yet it doesn't work because if it did people would not be buying warranties for anything ever. There will be cases it will but you are making it seem universal.

cjonesfan, no offense, but you are "counting" on a lot.

You say they would "have" to fix it, what if it's a problem that they don't recognize or don't take responsibility for? They wouldn't be required to fix it.

And if it is there fault and they refuse to, what are you going to do? I've heard numerous horror stories about MS, although sporadic, I think it's not smart at all to say a warranty is not worth it as you will be counting on a lot of things for such an expensive system, IMO.

Got back with my new 360, and I would usually get a freeze in the FIFA Practice Field, but none so far, so I'm pretty happy right now.

Well, when your ready to get your PS3 just say your 360 isn't working. BB will give you a gift card for the amount to buy what you want in the store and use it for the PS3. I'm surprised your not liking the 360 though.

I love my 360, but I love baseball too. The games won't be that different for most games, except PS3 will have options for baseball games. That's really the main reason. Still I don't like the sixaxis controller so we will see how it turns out. Just to make it clear, I love my 360.
