Re: Vertical or Horizontal
If you want to avoid or delay any forthcoming malfunctions, have it horizontal.Comment

Re: Vertical or Horizontal
Says me and every other person who had one bricked. PS having it vertical does allow for the cd to be scratched easily... I would love to hear you dismiss that theory, for I myself want to have it vertical.Comment

Re: Vertical or Horizontal
so now you want it vertical, make up your mind, having the system vertical does not scratch the disks, believe what you wanna, but I think that just false.N.Y Mets

Re: Vertical or Horizontal
The 2 360's that I had go bad, were horizontal. I've had this one vetical since I got it, and not 1 problem. Not even 1 scratched disk. I think it's all a matter if you move your console while it's spinning that causes the scratched disk.Comment

Re: Vertical or Horizontal
Neither horizontal or vertical will cause scratches. However, IMO there's a greater chance that a vertical 360 will scratch a disk. Basically because a horizontal one will take quite a push to get the 360 off balance causing the disk to rattle and scratch whereas a vertical 360 will take much less.Last edited by mjb2124; 11-12-2006, 07:31 PM.Comment

Re: Vertical or Horizontal
Had my launch system vertical about 9 out of the 12 months I owned it, and not one problem, I have the room and the air space to keep it where I have it, and not one problem. Vertical is fine to me. I don't care what you do, every game disk always manages to get some type of little anthraces on them no matter what you do, I keep all my disk in great shape, even my regular xbox disks had little scratches on them. If you have the air room and space, i think vertical is the way to go, the 360 is very sturdy even when placed vertical.N.Y Mets
