how many are tired of dying??

I am between playing COD3 on Hard and GOW on Hardcore, I am dying left and right. It gets really frustrating dying 12 times but when you beat the level it feels great.

    Spoilers

Now if only I can beat the corpser on GOW.

I've been dying left and right on the casual setting of GOW.

I played Co-op with EtherealVortex the other night and I know he was sick of me dying every five minutes, especially in Act 3.

Those parts with Marcus and Dom splitting up are brutal. Hit me up when you're ready to run through the game on Insane.

Shoot the knees and the other person finishes the job. Playing co-op for GOW is the only way to play Hardcore and now Insane for me. Gonna see if my friend and i can end it by tuesday.

I agree on it being more difficult when you get separated....atleast the AI players revive themselves after a while.

Call of Duty 3 is much harder than Call of Duty 2. There's been several acts where I've had to redo it 20 plus times to get thru it. I feel like COD3 should have had a few more checkpoints to aid in not having to do the act over several times. I love the game though and it's much better than COD2 and I loved COD2 as well.

I have more fun dying in Gears of War than I do in Call of Duty 3. I like how GoW feels like a new experience, so dying isn't so frustrating. Usually, when I die, I know why. I left cover, got overaggressive...saw a guy coming and tried to wait too long until he ran by me, etc.

With CoD3 when I die, it's because I didn't quite crouch behind the wall enough. GoW has ruined me to "duck behind something" cover. I really, really like their system and controls for using that system. Hard for me to play a "regular" shooter now, no matter how polished it is.

Those are really great points. With all the "What has Gears really done new" comments, I'd have to say the system and controls is refreshing.

By the way, I am the king of dying in any game. I always wonder..."Man, does everyone suck like me?"
Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.

NO. I am. Between getting blown away in GOW and the many times I have died on the first two levels of Splinter Cell Double Agent I am sure I am the king.

                    Bow down to the king.
