Other options to play Xbox Live wirelessly..HELP!

Guys, I have a problem. At my house, I have a wired internet connection(with cords). When I stay in my dorm in college, they use a wireless connection. I know that Microsoft has a wireless network adapter, but I was wondering if there is any CHEAPER option for me that would work? Thanks!

I want to play my 360 games online wirelessly, not PC games.

I think he meant bridge the connection through your laptop so you can plug your 360 into your laptop using the wireless signal your laptop is getting to hook up the 360 to the internet.

How would I bridge the connection? USB or Ethernet cord? Thanks!

Under your network settings, somewhere buried in the options menus there will be an option to bridge the connect you have coming into your laptop. It will allow you to plug an ethernet cord into your laptop and into some other device and have that other device receive the internet. I have done it with my PC, but that was a case where I received the wireless from a wireless card and bridged it out of the same card through a ethernet plug in, I'm not sure how it will work on a laptop it you have a standard laptop wireless card. Google "bridge wireless connection laptop windows XP" or something like that if you can't get it to work.

This is great news! Thank you for taking the time to explain. If I can just get an ethernet cord....
