Re: Question about picking up a 360

DON'T BUY YET!!! Amazon.com will most likely have 1,000 Xbox 360 cores available next Thursday for ONLY $100. I know its a core, but thats a hell of a deal. Go here and see what I am talking about. Again its only 1,000, but you might as well hold off and try it. http://www.amazon.com/gp/holiday/cv/homepage/

I'm definetly going to try to get one. I know its the core, but for that price it is very worth it.

I can understand large medical bills, unemployment, etc. But do you not have an emergency or "rainy day" cushion in your savings or investments?

            You should.

Just click the button that says Vote. Its under the 360. Also as long as you have an account set up with all needed information, such as address, credit card info, etc. Then you are set.

Micro Center has a $100 off mail-in rebate for Premium & Core systems but this Amazon deal is looking muuuuch better. $100 + $100 HDD + $14 Components = $215 Premium? Chuuch.

edit: forgot about the wired controller, and i already have a wired one for my PC and I can't see me having 3 controllers when i play by myself or online most of the time... but still ... $215? yes..

Re: Question about picking up a 360

I didn't quite read through all of this thread, but I just recently purchased a 360 on credit as well. I got mine from circuit city, using the circuit city reward visa card. I applied in the store, took me about 20 min., and they told me I was approved for a $1000 credit line. They offer 18 months no-interest financing, so I chose that. I plan to pay off the 360 when I receive my first monthly statement however, so that I can possibly get an increased credit limit in order to no-interest finance a $1,500 HDTV (the one in my sig). If you can, go to CC or maybe a Best Buy. Get a card from a store that offers no-interest financing, but BE SURE TO PAY the entire balance before the promo period is up and DON'T miss your minimum monthly payment or you will get taxed with interest charges.

Edit: I bought the premium system and also GoW and NBA 2k7 for $570. They threw in a second free wireless controller and a GoW faceplate, so pretty good deal I guess. Or is a free controller the norm now?

You don't have to pay it all at once. My advice is use their money since it's free for the entire 18 months. Wait a couple of months and ask for a credit line increase.
