Anyone else feeling down about the PS3 coming out?

I dono. Im a 360 owner and was happy to have the only next-gen system on the market. Now the PS3 is out and basically its the 'new' system. Sure, the wii is coming out but it doesnt offer what the 360 and PS3 do. While I can afford it and had access to the PS3 (my buddy pre-ordered 2--one for him and one for any of his friends who wanted one and he asked me first) but I dont want one, but still...

So are you 360 owners down about it?

Dont really care. There isnt a single game on the PS3 that Im interested in that I dont already own on the 360. Not interested AT ALL.

Don't feel bad at all. Love my 360 and will be getting a Wii. Have ZERO desire to get a PS3 at 600.00.

The system can't make me unhappy, only games. When the PS3 exclusives really start to pour in, then I may be a little pissed, but not now...

I'm happy with my 360 and come Sunday when I get the Wii, I'll be even happier owning he Wii60 combo. If the PS3 was let's say $200 cheaper, then I would get one for sure within 6 months.

I dont know. I was sony guy until this year. With news that the ps3 would be as costly as it is, coupled with all the talk of the 360 and the games I saw for it, plus the allure of live, I decided to stay away from the playstation. I really dont see a need for two consoles, so until further notice, I guess i'll just be an xbox fan. I felt weird not preordering a ps3, because that was the natural thing to do, for me. But, now i'm glad with my choice, and am enjoying my gaming with the 360.

I think the exclusives will be few and far between. I think there will still be a couple but developers can make a whole lot more money by porting.

Very happy with the 360, so I don't really care. It's always nice having that feeling of getting something new but at this time the 360 is better so there is no point.

I'm sure the PS3 will be very good. But I'm quite happy with my 360. And Gears of War makes me even happier.

I'm not getting a PS3, but I'm not feeling down at all about it's launch. I'm still excited about it actually, even though I don't want one. People are about to get their new "toy" and I'm happy for them. I remember well how I felt last year when I brough my 360 home and I hope people feel the same way about their PS3. I'm always happy to see a new console launch.

I guess I'm personally indifferent about the launch of the Playstation 3; I didn't even realize it was coming out this week until I saw a commercial for it during RAW.

Honestly, at a $500 minimum price point (last I heard, which was a while ago), I had decided a while ago I wasn't gonna worry about getting it anytime soon. Plus, there's no to-die-for games IMO for this system's launch, unlike Madden 2001 for the PS2 launch, which was pretty much being hyped as a must-have at the time.

While I'm planning buying a PS3 after the New Year (definately buy the time MGS4 and FFXIII drop), I'm not sad one iota. While I would feel the urge if I saw one in stores prior to Christmas, I'm perfectly happy with my 360 and the latest batch of games. My first year with Xbox Live has been blast!

Not to mention that I still have two major PS2 releases that I haven't finished yet in 'Kingdom Hearts II' and 'Final Fantasy XII' (which will have to wait until after Christmas anyway). I also just beat 'Bully' which was an awesome game.

As for the Wii, not quite sure when I'll spring for that, though the release of Smash Bros. might do it I'll also wait for comparison between the GC and Wii Zelda's and reviews of the new Mario.
