Question about DS Lite
My daughter wants a DS for Christmas, and the more I read about, I think I want one too. Is it true that you can have one copy of a game (Mario Kart for example) and be able to play against each other with 2 DSs? Does that work for all two-player games (like Clubhouse Games). How about for stuff like Nintendogs or Animal Crossing? ThanksMario Kart Wii: 1203 9969 5095

Re: Question about DS Lite
Thats cool how you only need one game for two DS's, but suprising. Is there any way to tell if you need one or two games? Does it give mention on the back of the game box how many you need?Comment

Re: Question about DS Lite
With something like Nintendogs, can two people have things saved from two different DS units (i.e. can two different people have game saves)?Mario Kart Wii: 1203 9969 5095

Re: Question about DS Lite
I don't know if you can tell how many games you need (without reading online) but I think some games allow up to 6 or 8 players on one cartridge from what I've read. The system is a great system in that its cheap, requires no memory cards or extra controllers and has addicting and unique games. My wife still loves hers although Trauma Center has her very frustrated with this multiplying triangle operation.Comment

Re: Question about DS Lite
Does being able to play multiplayer with one game tie into Wifi, or is the DS Wifi capability something totally different?
And regarding Wifi.. must the user have a wireless network installed in the area they are playing in order to go online, or is it only "online" in the sense that you can play those relatively close to you, without any online network?
I'm confused how the DS Wifi capabilities are implemented, and what it can and can't do in an "online" environment.Enjoy football? Enjoy Goal Line Blitz!Comment

Re: Question about DS Lite
DS person-to-person uses a form of WiFi (I think), but you don't need a home network to do it. Just have one person set up multiplayer and the other DS logs into the "Download & Play" at the main screen.
You can tell on the back of the box how multiplayer works...look in the upper-righthand corner. Mario Kart is a good example: 1 cart for 2+ people gives limited tracks, but a cart in each gives more/all tracks.XBox Gamertag: djbeth77
