I went to my Best Buy on Monday to pickup Company of Heroes. They must have had hundreds of Xbox 360's lining their end caps and aisles for those who couldn't snag a PS3 or Wii.

Man, anybody on the fence about picking up a 360 would be foolish not to pick up one of those bundles.

If Bestbuy was operating under the same directive as EB was, then Sony and Nintendos marketing scheme backfired lol.

        This is hilarious.

I'm not sure I trust this article. It is from a Microsoft hosted site.

Sony's marketing scheme already failed. Look up the eBay PS3 auctions. They aren't selling for but $1,000 with a game. Factor in eBay costs, and the sellers only made about $250.

Sony's whole scarcity plan was great and all, until it turns out that nobody actually wanted the system to play.

I love my PS1 games and my PS2, but got damn, Sony messed up with the super expensive PS3. Fans are loyal to games much more than they are to hardware, and when you can play Madden on both systems, they'll play it on the one that's $200-$300 cheaper.
