    Gamecube pricing

Does anyone that keeps up with Gamecube news know if it will be getting another price cut or is $99.99 as low as it's ever going to go? My son wants one for Christmas so I just wondering if I should go pick one up now or if it's going to be cheaper in the near future. Thanks for any help.

what he really wants is a Wii.

If you must get a Cube, go to gamestop or something and buy a used one.

He probably would rather have a Wii, if he knew that it existed. He's only six, so he's kind of out of the loop as far as what's current in gaming. He's been playing N64 for the last year. It works out good for me because GC games are all pretty cheap at this point and I'm sure he'll love playing them. If I buy used I'll probably just get one at a local store here because they offer a 30 day guarantee, but thanks for the offer.

Don't forget that the Wii will play GC games. If you can find one, it might not be a bad idea to just skip the GC and a Wii.

Haha, good stuff. No he isn't the N64 kid. But he may flip out like that if I get him a Gamecube or anything Nintendo for Christmas. I'll have to record him when he opens it just in case.

Anyway, I'd say if you plan on playing the games with him (or think you may), I'd suggest buying the Wii, since it is backwards compatible. But you know your son better than us, so I'm sure he would be happy with either system.
