Does anyone know when the new 360 processor will be on the market?

I have heard the same vague rumors most of you have. Has anyone heard or read anything more concrete on when the new processor comes out?

The rumors supposedly put it around Q1 2007.

Sometime between January to March, but I would still wait till April since they will be trying to sell the old stock with the previous processor.

Will the new processor just reduce heat or is there some other benefit?

My launch 360 has never gotten very hot. It gets warm, but it runs much cooler than my computer.

It will reduce heat and power consumption. It benefits Microsoft because they will get 2 CPU's for the price of one. That's what will get us a price drop.
