    Xbox bundle question

I'm looking to sell my Xbox with these accesories:

    Logitech wireless controller
    Pelican wireless controller
    Standard corded controller
    Logitech wireless headset
Xbox Live headset (the standard version)

    NBA 2k6
    MLB 2k6
    Fable (Greatest Hits)
Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition Remix
    GTA San Andreas
    Outrun 2
    MVP Baseball 2005

I was thinking of starting the bidding on ebay at about 170, but didn't know if it was a fair price. Everything is in very good condition too.

    Thanks in advance.

Start at 170? I would start lower than that. You might get 150 for all that if you're lucky.

I'd start it at $.99 and have a friend bid it up to the amount you want. If you can get a few friends to place various bids, even better.

High initial starting prices are a turnoff. I'd list it at $.99 initially, and let it get some bids, and then use friends to help it along towards the price you want to sell it for.

If it sells for a price you don't like, just make sure a friend bids last and don't make the sale. Though I'd recommend going through the feedback process as it will benefit both of you if you leave good feedback. Then re-list.

Yeah, someone just told me that price at one of those stores that put your stuff on ebay, but i had my doubts.

Like EG said, you might make about $150 for all that. That's what these things are selling for in a group.

            You'll get $170 for that.

I got $130 a month ago for an Xbox, an extra Controller S, an XBL headset, the DVD playback package, the Advanced A/V cables and NFL 2K5.

Your package is more attractive than that, so it will go for more. Still, I might sell the games separately. I always make more money that way, as the bundle of games might turn off a buyer who is interested in the console but not your genres of titles.

Sell the Xbox package and games separately for maximum profit. But you should get $170 together, at least.

            Take care,
            PK

You also pay a higher listing fee for a higher starting price. Trust the free market; it's not like this is an obscure item that no one wants.

When I sell a game, my starting price is 1 cent. The games still sell for eBay market value or more.

I agree. Whenever I sell something that has a "known" market value, I start as low as I can. You'll get more attention that way and you'll pay less in fees as stated above. Good luck!
