Looking for GOW people

Hello all, I bought GOW and am looking to do some versus mode but privately. I am looking for older "mature" people who want to get on and have a good time with a few laughs and saw each other in half. I am a total newbie and my friends that will be playing with me are pretty bad as well. So we are looking for equally bad players who take zero pride in their gaming ability. If playing on INSANE level sounds insane to you, if knowing where all the guns are on the maps isn't even important to ya, if you are normally that guy who has close to zero points next to his name at the end of a match then we are your guys to hook up with.

We are going to try to play a bit tonight around 7pm eastern. My gamer tag is "keyser soze 15" if you are interested send me a friend request and just put OPERATION in the message somehow. We will shift teams around to keep games fun and competitive with little emphesis on winning and more on having fun. If you play with us and you dominate to a large degree, don't be upset when we ask you to leave. My friends and I are older with families and other commitments and don't have time to really get good at this stuff.

I think you will need to post this in the online section. It might be a good idea to start some "short bus" gaming sessions for those of us who...umm...well..stink. Then we can all stink together.

Yeah, sounds like you 2 are right up our ally. So I have this in the wrong spot? I have never posted outside of the NBA or NCAA forums before.... I will move this if I figure out how and where to move to.

well I don't necessarily suck because I can get a few kills but I might fit in since I'm a GoW newb for the most part and like to have fun and I am old.

hey guys, i'm in too, i'm the guy that usually gets fragged like 32 times before I get 1 frag myself. I play recreationally on the weekends and don't know the maps, don't know where all the weapons are, etc, and then I usually am drinking a beer or two and that isn't any help with my aim. so i'll look you guys up, maybe we could get a game going friday or saturday.

We had a good time last night. It was fun to play some casual/short bus GOW online. We need to do more of that and with Rainbow SIx Vegas as well.

Yeah, that was a lot of fun last night after we finally figured out how to work the darn multiplayer games. Luckily for most of you, you were not there for the first 45 minutes of not being able to talk to eachother. I realize that almost everyone but me knows this but in case there are any other idiots out there like me. When you go to a game you have to make sure that your talk setting is set to the GAME channel. If you are in a private channel talking to a friend or anything like that, it will not allow you to talk to everyone in the game. This was a real nightmare for us but eventually we cracked the code. LOL

Last night was my first time doing that so I invited everyone on my friends list which included those 2 guys that I played random online co-op with. Since the totally dominated the game and had their way with all of us I will not be inviting them back so that we all might get a kill. I think a good PH test for being too good for the group is when you are easily able to run through and kill the entire other team solo while the rest of your team is away getting a soda from the fridge.

We still have not made it through all the maps and I am still pretty sure that I don't know how to operate a few of the guns but man, its damn fun. I even like it when I die and then get to watch the game through my teammates eyes and see what they do. Nothing better then 2 guys in a 1v1 shootout and running out of ammo before they can actually kill eachother.

Message me any time guys. I hope we eventually get enough people that we can run full 4v4 games. Makes it more fun and easier to keep teams really even.

Yeah, damn fun time last night playing Gears with you all. (This is FinsUp75). Only, I didn't realize this, but Soce, are you a PUke fan? Just kiddin... I'm a huge IU fan and alum so this could really add some spice to the chainsaw buzz.

Sponge, great idea about RS: Vegas. I got it a few days ago, but haven't had time to even open the wrapper yet. Played the demo and have heard great things about the game, so I'm looking forward to some multiplayer action in Vegas.
Any of you other guys with Vegas yet???

I am a PUke graduate of 1997 And now that I know you are an IU boy, you going to be on the other team eating my SAW!!! MUHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I don't think I have time for another game at the moment. Its all I can do to play this GOW one. And since getting GOW I haven't even played NBA2K7.

Anyone watch Heroes? I want the guys power to stop time so I can play video games more.... LOL.
