February 28, 2007 - Today, Ubisoft proudly proclaimed that Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 has officially reached gold status. Development on the hotly anticipated sequel to last year's game has been finalized, and the game has now entered production in order to meet its ship date of Thursday, March 8.

Ubisoft also announced an in-game Achievements tracking menu for every single multiplayer achievement. This is a pleasant little addition, which makes it easy to find out just how much more work you will need to put in to unlock the next achievement. GRAW 2 accurately measures your progress towards each of the individual Multiplayer Achievements

Pretty cool, the game has an achievement tracker. So if the achievement is 100 kills, it'll keep track how far you have to go till you are there.

New dev diary

Ubisoft released the fourth developer diary of Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2, this time about the multiplayer modes of the game. Looks like an excellent evolution from the first one!

according to the circuit city weekly add, they will have it buy 2pm tmrw or you get a $20 gift card.

I hope so. That made a lot of GRAW games on live very frustrating. But I already had this happen with the demo. I was playing co-op on the demo last night with only 3 other guys and we had a guy get dropped on the load. Only once though.

I pray to God they fixed the dropping problems, they had to know it was a problem. They should have fixed it before they charged us $15 for the DLC that was plagued with the same problems.

I'm still looking forward to the 16 player missions, always a good drunken time with my clan!!!

Exclusive Map Section Q&A

The auto update for GRAW 2 has added a section to the main menu entitled "Exclusive Map". After linking your Xbox Live account to your Ubisoft account in this menu, you can download the Nowhere map for free. By linking your account you also gain access to an exclusive section where you can download an exclusive Mega 64 video and Penny Arcade wallpaper.
