Splinter Cell is a better Single Player Experience.

I agree with Big i do have both games, both are great games but i give the nod to SC SP mode GOW was just too short

they are both great games, i liked gears because it was really really fun, i liked DA because it was a change of pace and made me think a little. Play Gears on INSANE and lets see how ur opinions on its length will change this time.

I think it all depends on your preferred gaming style. For me, while I loved the hell out of the single player campaign for Gears, I much more enjoy the slow pace of Splinter Cell.

With Gears, there's not as much thinking involved as there is button mashing. With Splinter Cell, you have to be smart and think your way through the game. That's more my cup of tea.

Like both, and was playing the single player campaigns concurrently...prefer SC: DA on the single player side...still like GoW however and would recommend that one if the multiplayer was another factor for you.
