Don't hate that I still play old school. 
So I brought my network adapter over to SDSU with me after Thanksgiving break to play some SOCOM online. Anyway, when I'm trying to re-register with my roommate's PS2, etc... it says that I'm connected, but like, my connection always times out or something. It also says that my registration can't be sent to SCEA. Then when I try to play SOCOM online, it says the same thing.
SDSU has recently had problems with its Internet, being kind of slow and whatnot. But I don't know if that has anything to do with it, because my floormate across the hall isn't having any problems playing 360 online.
Are there any new or recent issues with PS2 online, or is there something else that I'm not doing correctly? I understand that, when you're at a school such as here, that perhaps you would probably need some extra protected log-in info to do some of this stuff, but that didn't seem to be the case for my floormate. He said that he just asked for everything to be auto with no ID, password... nothing.
Could anyone possibly help me out on this one? Thanks.
