    DS's sold out everywhere!

Ive tried everywhere...big chain stores, smaller local ones, even online (except Ebay) damn it! Not getting it for anyone, but me. A week ago I went to a couple of places and they were all well stocked, but I waited for my paycheck and now no luck anywhere! Tons of PSP's but I dont want one of those, by the way Im in Austin, Texas if anyone around here has some ideas.

Wow where I live every retailer has them. Wal-Mart, CC, BB, Target, even my local EB.

Well I stay in Dallas, all the EB Games and Gamestops in Irving, Lewisville, Grapevine and Farmers Branch have plenty in stock...

Also all the ones in Oak Cliff and Duncanville have them too, maybe you should drive its about an hour and 45mins away.

Nintendo handhelds are always hard to come by this time of year. They can be easy to overlook but they sell like crazy.

Where I live, they have also been sold out.

They've been selling on ebay from $150-$185

I actually just bought a DS Lite a couple days ago for $105.

Our store was stocked with them just a few days ago, last night when I was there we only had two left and the pink ones were completely sold out

                  Check Buy.com

I got mine there last week with a $20 discount via Google Checkout.

                    Re: DS's sold out everywhere!

Wal-Marts near me have them. But I can understand why they're selling like mad -- it's a fun, unique, really cool little system. I LOVE mine, as it has returned the pure fun of gaming to me unlike any machine since the Dreamcast.

In fact, what was the top selling game machine in the United States in November? Not the Xbox 360. Not the PS3. Not the Wii. Not the PS2. Not the Xbox. Not the Gamecube. Not the Gameboy Advance.

Yep, it was the DS, by a landslide. Sold more than 918,000 units. The PS2 was second at 664,000 units.

                    Take care,
                    PK

Not surprising....the DS is an awesome system.

Yes it is, the more I play it the more I really like it. Been playing brain age and advance wars a bunch lately.

                          Re: DS's sold out everywhere!

One of the overlooked beauties of the DS is its versatility, and I'm not talking its portability.

I can get instant satisfaction with a two-minute Time War game of Meteos, or I can sit and play Clubhouse Games for hours. I've read where Advance Wars has more than 100 hours of gameplay -- I need to get that game, Pratt!

Whether you have two minutes or two days to kill, the DS will deliver.

                          Take care,

Haha, that does read like copy for a Nintendo commercial.
