Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball for the SNES was awesome. Probably my favorite baseball game ever. Wasn't Griffey Jr. the only real MLB player on the game?

      I miss those days.

IF you'd like to reminisce or just wanna check it out..

I remember that. Those games were great. Basketball was cool. You couldn't control your player outright...but you told him where to move.

How about Ring King. Knocking people out the ring was sweet. I hope XBLA gets that game.

Does anyone remember the name of the football game for C64 that was first-person? When you played WR you had to remember routes and count your footsteps and turn around to catch the ball. When you was RB you had o know what hole to run through. I love that game.

One more anybody rememberr 4-D Boxing for the PC? Made by EA. I still have the 3.5 disks....But lost the instructions and with out that your cant play the game......... Wait one more Rocky for Colecovision with the Joystick controller.

I think so, but everyone looked like who they were supposed to be.

That was the baseball game I played the most and the only baseball game I played multiple seasons with. Nothing like hitting a 500ft homer.

My favorite games from back in the day...

Arcade games: run &gun (the first game to allow the double clutch layups), I am not sure of the name, but it was Sega World Series baseball maybe?, Tecmo Superbowl. What was the name of that baskeball game that had an overhead perspective and you used a rollerball to move your guy?

AS far as console games: NBA showdown, arch rivals, the first addicitve football game - 10 yard fight, remember the mutant league football and hockey games, coleco baseball, that first ncaa basketball game on the snes that was in 3D but the the area around you was blue, double dribble...ahh the good ol' days

How about RBI Baseball? I used to love that game. There were only three types of hitters. You had the guys that stood upright like McGwire and Cecil Fielder. The hunched over guys like Ricky Henderson, and then you had the guys that sucked who just stood there and you were happy as hell if you could get homerun with one of 'em.

Also, Bulls vs. Lakers, and Bulls vs. Blazers and the NBA Playoffs. Damn I loved those games! TomChambers was a beast and could dunk from the 3 point line. I dont know why, but he could. Barkely used to throw down nasty in those games too..

Bases Loaded was my ish. I still got that damn in game music stuck in my head after all these years. I used to love those little cut scenes after HRs.

Oh Yes. Summer Games and Summer Games 2. We use to play that 5 deep. Man the 1500 meter race was torture. Moving that control back and forth for 1300 meters only to do a flat-out sprint the last 200...use to kill my arm. But love every moment of it.

Ah Bases Loaded. I loved playing that series. They even had bench clearing brawls in one of the games! You'd never see that in the corporate owned liscenced games of today.

Ok this goes WAAY back but does anyone remember the big pad that the NES had? Well my cousin had it and had an olympic games type of game. I used to sleep over at his house a lot and he'd roll out the pad and we'd be running, jumping and more or less having fun while exercising.

Damn the NES for making exercise fun!

Yea, I just recently went to my parents house and seen my old Power Pad sitting in a corner. I think the only games it utilized were Track and Field and some other game. You basically stomped in the circles to go the fatest. By the way, it sucked big time. Along with Nintendo's other failed invention, "the Power Glove". . . . .

It's funny thinking back how they only had the playoff teams to choose from back then. They wouldn't even put the non-playoff teams in the game.
