Re: PS3 Audio Help
Ok Guys.
To you Extreme,
Yes you and I have the EXACT same TV. *nods* good choice
To to AI03,
Beyond these small quirky video issues the PS3 seems to be pretty good up front, which is nice. Quiet system. 2 fans, lots of airflow out the back and the side of the system. Really nice Interface... a tad bit nicer than the 360's.
I'm impressed thus far, more so than I thought I would be. I was ready to hate the system, not for any other reason than it seemed to be an over expensive gaming toy.
So, The Issue WAS
The non-powered HD Component box.
I have ZERO issues with my Wii and 360 hooked to it, but the PS3 just hated it.
I went and bought a 50 dollar HDMI cable and that fixed all the issues. Sound and Visual.
For anyone that's got this switch boxes, your PS3 won't like them. you'll just have to go Direct to your TV.Last edited by DXZeke; 12-17-2006, 04:09 PM.BeyondMediaOnline.comComment

Like DX said, if you have a non powered component switch box, expect some problems. I experienced that back in January when I had bought the $20 Component Switch box and it was getting overloaded. I had taken it back during that time and bought the $100 Pelican Comp Switch box which is powered and the thing has worked like a champ for almost a year now.Comment

Re: PS3 Audio Help
Great that these issues are gone.
