One thing with the 360 though...most it's games also turn up on the PC and are often much cheaper.

A lot of guys here list BioShock as a 360 exclusive...but I'm sure I read it's a PC game also?

A lot of the games that are exclusive to the 360 are going to be on windows too.

Yeah, but that makes them NOT exclusive...

I guess what I'm saying is...if you have a high end PC, you can play all those games anyway.

So, a PS3 might be the way to go for guys who have high end PC's. I.e. if they really want to play all games.

Personally, I'm happy with my 360. It would take a killer NBA game to be PS3 exlusive for me to buy a PS3.

They are console exclusives and to run those games you would have to spend a lot of money upgrading your system if you didn't have one already and some people just don't like playing games on the pc. I agree with you though, it would take a lot for me to buy a ps3.

Why? It's the best baseball game on the market by far. It would be like if Madden was a PS3 or a 360 exclusive, it would sell systems on it's own.

It may not sell 1,000,000 PS3's but it WILL sell systems. Having ANY game that will help sell systems as an exclusive is always a GOOD thing for your camp.

This is the ONLY game that will sway me into buying a PS3. Maybe 2K can get their act together and make a passable game this year, thereby letting me wait another year to get a PS3.

I just can't justify spending $600 on a system when I already have a $400 one. This is doubly true considering most of the games I want to play are not PS3 exclusives.

Dude, MLB'06 sold plenty of PS2 systems. MLB'07 will do the same for the PS3.

Yeah me either. Heck when I was saying 05 version was a very good game no one paid any attention and all I heard was "that series sucks".
Now 2 years later it will sell a 600.00 system? Don't think so. IF there was some other games I really wanted to play (The Show I really want to play) I would be more inclined to get a PS3. So hopefully whenever I get a PS3 there will still be some leagues going here.

I think The Show will sel as much PS3s as NBA 07 does. I just don't see their brand being strong enough to be a system seller.

I have read about it on plenty of other forums. Of course, these are either 1) video game forums or 2) sports enthusiast forums.

I guess you should take into account the entry cost, candy. A $120 PS2 plus $40 MLB game vs. at least a $500 PS3 and a $60 game!
