Hooking up my 360 via VGA cable vs component on my HDTV (Any differance)??

My hdtv only has 3 hi-def inserts (1 component, 1 hdmi and 1 VGA)

    Now....i have a ps3, hd box and a 360.

How is the picture quality of the VGA vs the Component cable for the 360??

    Any help would be appreciated.

I have an lcd hdtv and i get better quality with component. VGA looks a bit washed out colors.

From what I have heard, DVD's look better over VGA but games look better over component. I think a lot has to do with your TV and what VGA resolutions it will support.
