    After Christmas Sales

I dont know if anyone knows of any others, but I work at EB and we got the flyers in today. I cant remember too many off the top of my head. I remember seeing Oblivion for 30. NCAA on 360 for 15 I think. I think Ghost Recon was cheap too, maybe like 25-30. Anyway... keep a look out at your local EB's and gamestops.

If anyone else knows of any other after christmas sales, this would probably be nice place for them.

Flat panel display market research company DisplaySearch, an NPD Group Company, has forecasted that prices for LCD HDTVs will drop upto 40% throughout 2007. The mass price for a 32-inch LCD panel could drop down to $290 resulting in a 32-inch LCD HDTV to cost a bit less than $400.

DigiTimes got word from several LCD HDTV manufacturers that by end of next year, a 42-inch LCD HDTV could drop to $999 while a 37-inch could reach a new price low down to $799.

                    Mega on the info., Bryan!

The only thing that sucks about the DS is its popularity. Nintendo and retail outlets don't need to offer many discounts on DS software or hardware since both sell so well.

                    Take care,

I've found the best place for deals is watching the TRU fliers. They usually have good prices to start with and have a lot of $5 deals for many games. I picked up Elite Beat Agents and Yoshi's Island as Christmas gifts for my wife last month for only $29.99 Canadian. Its so nice that the games are cheap to start with. She will be getting the Phoenix Wright sequel and when I can find a cheap copy of Meteos (I know you heavily recommend) I will get that too. I find that there are almost no used copies of any DS game for cheap anywhere.

Rudy, just an FYI. I came across a used copy of Meteos for $17.99 at my local EB. Add that to the 10% discount with the card and it was the best money I have spent in awhile. Get that game if you get the chance - it is addictive as anything I have ever played, including Lumines.

On topic, I don't know how many of you have a Coconuts around your area, but they seem to put out some decent sales on games and movies. Actually, the have a tendency to use rebates as opposed to sales, but the prices are always good if you don't mind filing a rebate form. They also sell used games and movies for cheaper and give better trade-ins/sale money than EB/GameStop. The selection is more limited, but I picked up Gears of War there for $39.99 less than a week after release. It just depends on what people bring to sell.

If you have one close, I recommend checking them out. They usually have ads leading up to and shortly following Christmas.

I was just in there two days ago and saw a used copy for $31.99 Canadian. Maybe the sticker was old and the price has dropped but if I could find it for under $20 I would get it. Their website even says $17.99 so maybe it was just an old sticker or I'm getting screwed over in Canada. Thanks.

Rudy, I don't know exchange rates and whatnot, but down here Meteos is only $19.99 NEW (if you can find it). Well worth the money once you get used to the game. It plays a little differently at first than most puzzle games I have played.

I liked Meteos more than Lumines (made by the same team).
