The browser is pretty cool.
Press the 2 button and it will fit the picture and text to screen so you don't need to squint. Or you can just zoom up on the article and then manually scroll it horizontally and vertically.

The browser is faster and more responsive than the PS3 web browser. It's a niffty thing, but it's just not the same as using the computer.

I hope it eventually does. Typing with the wiimote isn't always easy.

EDIT: Actually I just read on gamefaqs that a USB keyboard will work with the new browser. I'll have to check this out tonight.

Basically same thing i was gonna say regarding functionality. The browser is as fast as the regular opera browser on a pc, so pretty damn fast.

I could see using it if my wife was using the computer. I can't imagine using it daily, but some of those flash games seem interesting - check out http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/games/wii/ - the bow man game is fun, drawing back the bow and trying to shoot an arrow through someone's head is fun with the remote.

Another site to visit is wiicade. Lots to try out between the two.

Me? A little. Daughters : A lot. Keeps them off my PC so they can do their Hanna Montanna stuff on Wii.

the fact that you can go to sites that have wii capable games on it makes it just a bit more useful, but i agree, the wii is sitting next to a couple of my pc's, so no way will i be using it over my pc web browser.
