I would recommend them in the following way!

Get COD 3 if you like pure fun online! Online - It's hard to execute tactics and stay together as a group when playing with friends. However, it's a ton of fun! Single Player - Very linear and not very innovative at all!

Get RB6 if you like to execute tactics and enjoy building up your character (equipment and clothing upgrades). Online - You can customize your character's face with the use of the camera. Single Player - Challenging but fun!

Get GOW if you plan to play with no more than eight friends. It has limited tactics due to the small size of the maps and the longshot weapon hording. Co-Op (playing with one other friend online in story mode) is a ton of fun but on Insane difficulty only.

I own Ghost Recon and Fear but it's been awhile since I played either. However, they are both excellent games and would recommend both for single player. Hope this helps!

F.E.A.R. is my favorite because a) It's very creepy and b) It has the best AI, I have ever seen in a FPS.

FEAR doesn't have the flashiest graphics, but good god is the AI amazing. You'll be cursing at and then wanting to give the developers a huge "awesome" for how smart most of the AI plays.

Gears of War has a shorter single player game, but if you want MP then by all means this is pretty nice.

For single player R6 or COD3 will hit the spot and both of which have pretty good MP as well.

I'd have to agree. Except I have it for PC not 360. For 360 I would get GRAW or R6.

Just got it a few days ago but has to be R6: Vegas. I am loving the battles in the single player alone.
