Need Help with PS3 Game Selection..

So I just decided what the heck and bought a PS3 today. My girlfriend though just picked up two random games (NBA 07 and Call of Duty). I already own NBA2K7 on 360 though. I will probably return both games. So I'm wondering for all you PS3 owners what are the two best games out right now for PS3?

There are not to many out there right now. I have Resistance Fall of Man and Ridge Racer 7 oh excuse me it's Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiidge Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaccer

Call of Duty is not to bad if you like FPS. NBA 07 is gawd awful i'm glad your returning it. Another game you might be interested in is Fight Night RD 3 which is a good boxing game. Early next year is when the game selection picks up.

Try downloading some games from the PS Store.

Resistance and Ridge Racer 7 are the two best launch titles if you own a 360, but you already do. These are the two games that you should pickup for the PS3 if your looking for games that aren't on the 360 already that are good.

NBA2K7 on the PS3 is a better version than the 360, but not by much. Personally, I would return NBA'07, it's not that good of a game.

Call of Duty 3, I haven't played yet but the 360 version is supposed to be 100x better due to framerate issues on the PS3.

So you would pick Ridge Racer over Need for Speed? Cause I havent even played that on 360.. I might be looking for a racing game cause my girlfriend likes 'em.

It depends, if you like real cars than NFS:Carbon might interest you. If you like futuristic looking vehicles that aren't realistic than you'll enjoy Ridge Racer. Carbon was cool, but some of the racing did get on my nerves. I wouldn't spend the $60 on the PS3 version, next week at Best Buy they are going to have the 360 version for $39.99.

I would definitely choose Riiiiiiidge Raaaaaacer over Carbon. I'm a huge fan of the series because it's pure arcade racing and the game is an absolute blast online.

Also if you've played Need For Speed Underground 1 and 2 or Namco's SRS Racing you've played NFS Carbon. At $39.99 it's an ok deal, i'll wait for it to hit the sweet spot of $19.99 before i'll buy it.

If you own a 360, only 2 games on the PS3 are worth buying, Resistance and Ridge Racer 7. Every other game is better on the 360. Sorry.

I think TW07, FNR3 and Madden come close but they do look better on the 360.

Yeah, none of them are bad games at all.

But if you haven't bought Madden, TW, FN3 etc already, then I would buy them on the PS3, but not buy them again. Like I wouldn't buy Madden on all 3 consoles (right Candyman? ).
