    XBOX 360 Wireless Adapter

Is there any rhyme or reason as to why this thing cost $100? I'm finally wireless except for my 360 and I'd like to get rid of the cable but I do not want to spend a $100 to get it. Maybe i'll check ebay for a used one.

      Re: XBOX 360 Wireless Adapter

I bought the wireless adapter over the summer after moving my 360 further away from my router. Didn't want to mess with running another ethernet cord to it, so I dropped the $99 for the wireless adapter. Well worth it in my opinion.

If you check out Amazon, I believe they had it for $80 a week ago, not sure if the deal is still around.

$87.99 brand new with free shipping, guess the price went up a bit.

Taxes included, the wireless adapter costs almost $150 here. My 360 isn't close to my wireless router so I use a really long ethernet cord. I prefer wireless but at this point I'm not sure I want to drop $150 for the adapter. The Premuim 360 should have had built in wifi.

You don't have to use the one made by Microsoft. I used one on my original xbox made by Linksys. I believe it was around 30 bucks at Best Buy.

Linksys does have one for around $30. And it's for pretty much any game system.
