they have no consoles. its not a lack of buyers, there's no units to sell.

well, the ps3 has already outsold the 360 in Japan.

Japan:
Wii: 1.01 million
PS3: 0.48 million
360: 0.30 million

The PS3 starts in Europe in March 2007. Europe has always been known as Playstation Country and those PS3 numbers will jump as fast as Sony can supply units to them.

I own all three systems and i'll make a prediction, by 12/2007 Sony will come very close to MS overall. Sony is pretty much selling what they have right now which is good for them.

They must lower the price for that even to be possible. By next December the XBOX 360 should be close to 15 million or more in total sales and for the PS3 to match that is unlikely unless they reduce the price big time.

Are these actually accurate? Its hard to imagine that the Wii already has almost half the sales of the 360 in only a month.

to be honest I really don't believe any of those sites, until I see somthing from IGN/gamespot/cnn money, then I really don't believe.

That's not that big of surprise. Japan is notorious for bring brand-loyal. They know Sony and Nintendo so they buy those brands.
However, apparently the RPG 'Blue Dragon' is making big waves in Japan and has helped the sale of the 360 over there the past few weeks.

Same here Sponge.. With Microsoft already shipping 10 million to retailers for the holidays, I wouldn't be surprised if they've sold 9 million already..

As, long as none of them have the same fate as the Dreamcast . Then, I really don't care. But, for a second I thought nintendo was going down.
