MS extends 360 warranty to a year???

So my 360 bit the dust between the 90 day period and a year and I refused to pay for a replacement. So if it has still been less than a year they will replace it for free right??

yes, as long it's still with in the year you bought it.

Yeah, I still got screwed. Mine died after the 90 days but MS refused to fix it for free. I attempted to fix myself by taking it apart since I refused to give MS more money. I was unable to fix it but 2 weeks later, I see MS admitted the problem would replace launch units. However, they would no longer replace mine because I had opened it. I argued the only reasoned I opened it was because they refuse to fix it for free the first time but they did not buy into my chicken and egg run around logic.
