Gears of War Question?

I am at the part of the Fenix Estate when you have to leave and get to the ATC and then they only give u like 30 seconds to do that and that thing is coming. How do I do all that in 30 seconds?

If it's the part I'm thinking of, you just roadie run all the way through that section. Don't stop and shoot or take cover or anything, just run like hell.

i ended up figuring that out, but now im on the part when im facing RAAM and I cant kill him. any advice? sorry for so many questions.

What difficulty are you playing on? He is a real bitch on Hardcore (or Insane). Best advice, stick to the light (so the Kryll doesn't rip you to shreds) and when he gets too close, hop over and run to the other side and repeat. He will die eventually.

Oh, and only bother attacking him when he sends the Kryll your way, otherwise he is invulnerable, don't watse your ammo shooting him when he surrounded by them.

im on casual so basically stay in the light, run around, and then only shoot when the Kryll are after me? Can using the Lancer with a chainsaw up close work? Somebody said i need a sniper rifle to kill him, is that true or do Lancers and other machine guns work? And is this the last level?

There should be a sniper rifle in the room right before the fight. I would suggest you get it. I've always killed RAAM by shooting him in the head with the sniper.

You can have a Lancer and the Sniper as your secondary weapon. Stay in that first cover you start off in and try to get head shots from afar while he walks towards you. As long as you are there and behind cover the Kryll cannot get you. When RAAM gets too close, jump over the cover and run to the next train car where you will find an identical piece of cover. Jump over, get behind it, and repeat until he walks towards you again. Then go back to the original piece of cover. Repeat until he is dead. This is how I defeated him.

Frag Grenades and the torque bow is real useful. The explosion scatters the Krill as well as damage him.

He's a lot easier than people make him out to be (Raam). You seriously just stay ducked behind the long bit of cover that is right in front of you when you enter the area - and you just keep shooting him when the Krill things fly away. And I had the sniper - so I'd use that a lot.

When he gets near you and finally makes his way around the cover (which sometimes never happens because the clipping and AI is terrible), you just jump over it, and run to the identical piece on the other side.

Just repeat until he's dead. On casual I didn't have to move. On the other two, I had to run once.
