Picked up Motor Storm

I am not putting this in the racing forum because no one goes there. I picked up a PS3 on new years eve. After playing the Moto Storm demo I knew I had to get my hands on it!. I ordered the Japanese version last week and received it today. Wow does this game look and play good. The tracks are a lot more wide open then the demo and there are multiple ways to get to the finish line. The game is easy to pick up and play so the language is not a big deal and does not detract from the game at all. I would encourage anyone with a PS3 to pick it up!.

Play-Asia is a great online shop. I've ordered from there many times and the games always arrive quickly and well packed.

Onto Motor Storm... how many tracks are there and do the locations vary? Or are they all the same dusty cliff areas?

Damn this is what PS3 is all about. Who am I kidding, M$ doesn't come close to sniffing Sony's library. Just on that aspect alone, Sony ruled the console markets ever since the first Playstation.

EG I think you might be mistaken a wee bit on only one course. From what i've read the J version of Motorstorm has only one mode, no online but it comes with more than one course.

I agree with you what for the US version it will be complete and much better.

Well, I meant it's in one area, the Utah mountain course that's on the demo. But yeah, only one mode is what I meant more than one course.

The whole game is based in monument valley, so yes its one area. The game is based on a festival in that area. From my understanding the tracks are the star of the game, just like resistance the weapons are the star of the game. I've heard it still a great game, just no options, and I'm with you I would not buy it in its form.

I've read the producers are working very hard on the US release and are excited for the online stuff you can do with the game.

I'm pumped for the release here, don't get me wrong.

I would wait for the US release also, there's going to be more than just the bare bones JP release.

Motor (Japan) is the same as the US game except for no online mode.
