I don't know that seems like a lot of stress on the wrists with these controller. You might see a lot of carpal tunnel down the line.

Well, it really is not that much stress. We are not spinning 15 pound bowling balls.

I had a bowling game on the PC I played religiously online. I've never understood why videogame makers don't make a great bowling game to play online. I think it would be immensely popular. If Wii Sports was online btw I'd already have bought a Wii. As it is I am still perched comfortably on the fence.

You are right Brian. I'm just waiting for that one app I have to have. I would like to know if anyone has Excite-A-Truck as it seemed like it may be it from the videos but no one seems to own it.

I have Excite Truck. It's a real fun game, but it's not super deep and I personally can't play it for more than 30 minutes at a time. It's a worthy purchase but IMO it's not a system seller.

I love the Wii and there are some great games on tap, but if you're not a big Zelda fan then it may not be a must-have system at the moment, especially with how hard it is to find.

Nintendo would be stupid to not capitalize on the popularity of Wii Bowling with a future Mario Bowling title or something. Everyone I know who has played it loves Wii Bowling.

Wii bowling definitely rocks... everyone from my 6 year old cousin to my 45 year old uncle have fallen in love with it. All the Wii sports games are fun once you get the hang of them, but bowling has definitely gotten the most play in my house... with tennis in a close 2nd.

For someone like myself, Wii sports alone has been a system seller. I don't have a lot of time for games, so it's great to just play 2 or 3 games whenever I have the time. Not to mention it's a GREAT party game! Starting with everyone creating their own Mii, my New Year's eve party was dominated by the Wii... and everyone seemed to have a different favorite game. Even my least favorite game boxing became fun as heck after a few drinks... when else will I get a chance to beat up some of my relatives?

Damn Brian... 258 is a heck of a bowling score! I just broke my record over the weekend with a 243 and to think I was all proud of myself.

I played it over the holiday season and really liked it. For some reason I really enjoyed tennis but bowling was my favorite. My first game was a 240 something and I backed that up with a 260 something. My natural motion was to have alittle bit of left spin so I lined up way to the right and fired away.

The Wii might be the second system I purchase but that won't be for a year or two.

Hey has anyone tried the training part or mini games in bowling. I don't know what the game is called but you start with a certain amount of pins. You have 10 throws. Every time you throw the ball there are more pins. I think the 10th throw you have something like 95 pins.. WOW this mini game is fun as heck. There are no gutters. Nintendo needs to create a new bowling game ONLINE... This game is probably the most fun I've played in a long time.. A true fun game
