Need some dead 360 advice

Since mine died on new years day and i called microsoft that day and they say i should have my box by monday. Should i just do the walmart thingy or wait on ms, has it been taking a long time to get your console back and is it a refurbished one, liked to hear from some of u guys who's had this problem

how long did it take 4 u to get your box to ship it back?...been 3-4 days for me have not got it yet...just got off phone with them...box will be here on the 10th it was the 3rd when i called so it takes a week to send an empty box from texas to cincinnati,ohio...man I could have walked to texas and picked it up.....very close to just calling 360 history,great, great system,but all these probs and customer service..... might just be time to be PS3 exclusive.....I cant take it no mo

no i'm still waiting for my empty box to come she told me 3days but it's about to be a week i really like this console but man i'm nervous about any 360 i get now

this is my first problem,I have a launch system 11/05 B.O.D.....I know from all the horror stories getting a refurbished unit back...I did not purchase a refurbished unit,I bought mine new with a 2 year warranty..if this one konks out,I am done....PS3 only then for me

It took me 2+ weeks to get my box from MS (not typical based upon all of the feedback I've seen here), and then I kept getting boxes from them for the next week (for a total of 3 boxes). I held on to the two extras in case I need to send my refurb unit in

My launch system died couple of months ago. I called 1-800-4myxbox and they gave me a reference # and a date that i would get my box to ship it in. They also gave me a ups serial # so I could track my system. It took about 5-6 days 4 my box to come. Since I had the lights of Death on my xbox They sent me a totaly new system. I love my 360 and I am about to get a Wii that is all I need.

I did but i took it off like in september and it ran fine up until new years day

360s breaking can not be attributed to anything specific at all.

You can theorycraft all you want, but I know people that have knocked their 360s off their ent stands and they still work, I know people that have spilled a drink on their 360 and it still works, and I know people that take flawless care of their machine and they break for no reason.

Is there any new updated information on why they are breaking? Im on my 3rd one, and no matter how much I enjoy the games on this system...im done with it.

3 360s in just a little over a years time is beyond ridiculous. Ive owned almost every system since the odyesse 2 and still have many of them. Funny thing is that even though they have moved overseas several times, been in 2 tornados, survived floods, survived slumber parties where they were dropped, kicked, stepped on, drinks in them etc....everyone of them still works.

My 360 has never been anywhere except in my entertainment center, and 3 have broken now. Unacceptable, I dont care what company made it.

IF you've had that many in a year it's time buy either a PS3 or a Wii. Or you can call MS HQ in Redmond and ask to speak to a higher up but you know they won't admit to anything.
