Battlefield 2 > GR:AW
The game is only $25 used, and you can operate tanks/helis/humvees....This game got it all, also they upgraded so that you can control EVERY soldier on the field. Definetely worth at least a rental, but I guess if you have the PC version, this game losses it's luster for the X360. It didn't even get that much coverage, but it's one of the best shooters for Xbox.Tags: None -
Re: Battlefield 2 > GR:AW
I have it for the PC, it's a great game thats a lot of fun to play online. I haven't tried the 360 version, but I've heard similar things. It's totally different than GRAW, much more run and gun style of game. I love being in the gunner's seat of the helicopters, thats a ton of fun. -

I'd have to disagree. I've owned both for the 360 (still have GRAW) and Battlefield's graphics were extremely lacking compared to GRAW. I liked the fact that in BF you had vehicles to drive but the on the ground (on foot) action just did'nt work for me. Something real weird in the way my character moved around, especially in quarter gun battles. VERY ODD !!
GRAW's gun action and gameplay was/is by far superior.
Just my opinionXBL Gamertag: hoos4974

Re: Battlefield 2 > GR:AW
Obviously, we all are going to disagree on something, so it's no biggie...Perhaps the graphics not being up to par or maybe just that it's a port would explain the lack of publicity. On the ground battles, you have to actually switch to every soldier, and fight like a synchronized army. The HotSwap feature makes this so simple.
* The revolutionary new HotSwap feature in single-player mode gives you instant tactical control. Pull every trigger on the battlefield to lead your army to victory.Comment

BF2 was decent, but GRAW destroyed it online and off.Comment

Re: Battlefield 2 > GR:AW
Well with all respects to everyones opinion. I enjoyed BF2MC more. For one it was so quick and easy to get online and into the action, I didnt care waiting in lobbies for one match to end. But they really are two different types of games, as said before, GRAW is more sim, detailed, and slower paced. While BF2 is faster paced, bump around in vehicles, class selection, and my favorite the open/close parachutes. I only played the single player game for around 30 minutes, once I tried online I never went back. A big setback for BF2 is the voice chat is very inconsistent and your lucky if it works a whole match. I liked 'em both, but BF2 was just more fun to me!Comment

Re: Battlefield 2 > GR:AW
I wish you could take the premise and vehicles of BF2 and incorporate the gunplay/gameply of GRAW. Take the best of both worlds. This would cure each games' biggest faults, IMO. BF2 and it's arcadey shooting and moving, GRAW's boring game modes and spawn camping.Comment
