I will rent the PS3 version even though I passed the 360 version. I like the idea of hiring more than one guy to be with you. Imagine all the havoc you can cause. I was pretty stumped why they didn't give this option for the 360 version.

Its mind boggling that they added all this new stuff on the PS3 version, but the 360 one didn't get them.

More development time and they had to add something for people like you and me to re-buy or rent the game.

I love the Godfather series but they seriously need to work on the graphics. Old gen with HD feels like. The IGN review was all over the PS3 version for graphics as well.

I'll take a look at this game on the PS3 when its $20. Like I was telling EG, after playing Crackdown it is hard going back to some of these older style of Sandbox games.

I knew you couldn't say no to Godfather on the PS3.

LOL! Well, I wouldn't pay $60 for it.........but at $20 if and when it drops, then no problem.

For me, I prefer these type of games. Mostly because of the mafia touch to it but I don't think I could ever put as much play time into GTA, Crackdown, etc. as I put in with the Godfather.

I really like the crew aspect that they have included + the roof top battles sound to be fun. This game to me was more fun than any of the GTA's since all side missions and everything you did centered around your character and the Corleone's.

After all that I said I wouldn't purchase the Ps3 version, I am so tempted.

Candyman sticks his foot in his mouth now, and kicks his *** with the other one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well hopefully you can pass one of the versions one of these days.

LOL! I know, I know........I'm a sucker for The Godfather series.

One thing that is enticing by this version is having a crew which should have been in the game from the beginning. Having a crew helps when battling in the compounds and even some of the tougher businesses that you try to take over and you get your arse handed to you.

LOL! I'm starting to feel like FF with his 50 PS2/PSP purchases, but for me with The Godfather.

Plus I found some more info about a few things that were added to the PS3:

The World of The Godfather, Rebuilt for Next Gen

The authentic The Godfather experience reaches a new level on the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system with much more content than the current gen version of the game, including new hits, compounds, families, hubs, mini-games, and more.

                      The Power of Intimidation

-Wield the power of the BlackHand like never before with new Sixaxis motion-sensing controls.
                      Do It Your Way

-The non-linear action-adventure gameplay features original and film-based missions, including all-new missions.
                      Develop Your Character

-The new RPG system lets you choose your path as an Enforcer for better fighting skills or an Operator with a gift for extorting and influencing others.

                      -Respect and Consequences

-Use your powers of loyalty and fear to earn respect. How you go about gaining power — through negotiation, intimidation, or a strategic mix of both — affects how others deal with you.

-Mafia warfare gets more intense on next gen with new car bombs, hard-hitting Corleone strike teams, and more.
                      Director’s Cut Content

-View bonus behind-the-scenes and making-of videos, only on the PLAYSTATION 3 system version of the game!

So is this game worth picking up? How does it compare to a game like Saints Row? Also, how are the graphics? I need to expand my PS3# game library so bad.

                          Don't we all...

Personally I loved this game. I liked it a lot better over Saints Row. Excellent story line as well and I heard the PS3 version is only better. As far as graphics, they are old gen graphics in HD. EA really slacked on that and just ported them over from PC to system to system.
