Re: IGN Dev. Int. God of War II
Should be noted that it's very hard to compete with Flawless for gaming news updates.Last edited by Cyros; 01-13-2007, 10:59 AM. -
Re: IGN Dev. Int. God of War II
I haven't played the first God of War yet... I guess I somehow miseed it, as I don't game as much anymore.
I used to be into myths and legends as a kid, and I was thinking I might enjoy the game.Enjoy football? Enjoy Goal Line Blitz!Comment

If you pick up the first one, beware the spike wall.Comment

Re: IGN Dev. Int. God of War II
What's the spike wall?
I've generally heard good things about the game. The reason I didn't check it out is partly because I was never a huge fan of Devil May Cry, and I assumed the games were pretty similar. Devi May Cry (I only played the newest/re-released one) was fun, but I reached a point where I didn't know what to do and was just running in circles.
If the second GoW looks to be good, I guess I might as well check out the first also. I just hope it's more straightforward/action-oriented instead of just being ridiculous puzzles that make me lose interest out of frustration.Enjoy football? Enjoy Goal Line Blitz!Comment

Re: IGN Dev. Int. God of War II
Spike wall shows up later in the game. It's basically a rotating pillar that you have climb up (two of them) and you have to find the correct paths in the wall to get to the top. One hit and you fall off. I actually got stuck inside the geometry once and kept getting hit after I fell. What's the spike wall?

Re: IGN Dev. Int. God of War II
I despised the whole Hades section of the game. I waws sitting there thinking about how much of a bastard they were for doing that to me. A man can only kill so many minotaurs and it looks like I'll be back it come March.Comment

Yes, this game looks amazing and March can't get here fast enough to continue the story of Kratos.Comment

Those graphics are ridiculous. I loved the first game, I'll definetely be getting this one as well. Thank god for backwards compatibility on the PS3
