I hope This is the right place to put this
My 360 broke down recently and I upgraded to a premium system. Now I am stuck with a extra hardrive and Hd-cables. I went to 3 Walmarts trying to return the new hardrive in the old hard drive box. The first Walmart says without a recipt we can't do anything and we don't sells those at this store. The second Walmart I tried didn't go well at all b/c I felt like I was a crook. The lady actually looked at the serial number on the box and the hardrive and knew they didn't match. I got a real dirty look for that, but I said I must of brought the wrong one and if I come back with the right one can I get a refund and she said it still won't matter without a reciept. The third Walmart I tried, I didn't bring the box and I was so close to getting a refund. The guy ask me When did I buy and I said a week ago, so he looked up if any were sold in the last week and the answer was no. If I would of said the last month I would of most likley gotten a refund.
I remember not to long ago you could return anything to Walmart without reciept. I feel like i am a crook when I try returning these things, but should I? I am basically returning a brand new hardrive to the store. I could return the orgional one, but then I would have to transfer all my saves, etc. to my computer and the back to the new hardrive. What do you guys think I should do, try another Walmart, Target or sell it on E-Bay.
