I've been a ps2 gamer, and havent kept up with what's on the 360. I picked up gear of war, but would like suggestions on what else to buy. I want the best of the 360.

Saints Row is pretty good. Its a GTA clone but a pretty high quality one.

There's some great past games like GRAW, Rainbow 6 and Splinter Cell.

Buy four rectangle pencil erasers and use them as rubber feet under your 360. Increases airflow, drops paranoia.

Anywho..

Project Gotham Racing 3. You can find it VERY cheap nowadays, and you haven't played a racing game until you've tried the dashboard/cockpit camera view from PGR 3.

The Godfather - Very underrated game. It's more linear than the average sandbox/GTA game, but polished and well-done.
