R6: Vegas/GRAW question
I'm not very good at shooters, but I do enjoy them. I want to give Vegas or GRAW a shot, but are they hard to pick up and just play? I don't mind it taking some time to get used to it, I just don't want to get it if it's going to take me a LONG time to get the hang of. Oh and I probably won't do that much Multiplayer with either game, if that changes anything. So which game would probably be best for me? Thanks.Tags: None -
Re: R6: Vegas/GRAW question
The toughest obstacle to overcome is map knowledge. The veterans know where all of the key sniping, or attacking, points are. You'll find yourself getting picked off a lot in certain areas because a veteran of the game is locked in on it. Other than that, it's your typical FPS. Controls are easy to learn, and the game modes keep things fresh and fun. -

Well with the new coming out in around 2 months, would you really want to buy the game for full price only to have the new one drop a week later?Comment

Re: R6: Vegas/GRAW question
What Sully said regarding map knowledge actually applies to both games but more so on Vegas. As far as the OS crowd goes, Vegas is getting the brunt of play time. GRAW is virtually non-existent online for OS guys, well at least the guys who post in this thread. Can't speak for the whole OS community of course. Still yet GRAW is a great game but we just moved on to greener pastures.....LOL
The controls are easy to pick up for both games. GRAW has much bigger maps than Vegas, but the online and single player gameplay in Vegas is very addictive. The computer enemy AI in Vegas is the best out there for any 360 game.
Hope this helpsXBL Gamertag: hoos4974

Re: R6: Vegas/GRAW question
True, GRAW 2 looks to blow the first GRAW out of the water !!!! It's scheduled for sometime in March.
One last thing about Vegas, they are releasing some DLC in March which will include some new game types and 10 maps - - - - LONG LIVE VEGAS !!!XBL Gamertag: hoos4974

Re: R6: Vegas/GRAW question
I agree, Vegas is a much better buy, than GRAW. I enjoyed GRAW alot last year, but I've enjoyed Vegas alot more. Besides, GRAW2 is coming out in a month, so I'd wait on it.Comment
