Does it have something to do with the hardware or what? I don't get why so many pc games have 64+ players playing at the same time but consoles never get that many. I think resistance is the only game that supports more than 32.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

You need a server to be able to hold that many, most PC games, people have servers set up running 64 people. Most PC games I ever played were best at 20 on 20, which Resistance for the PS3 does perfectly, it's running off of Sony servers as well.

I wish this was so on some of the 360 online games

Can you imagine the chaos and fun it would be to play GRAW or R6 with a 50 player co-op team?

Well, even on the PC those are 16 player games. I think he means the Battlefield's of the world.

It will be, that Frontlines game that is coming from the Desert Combat team is going to support at least 36, which is perfect to me.

I've been online with BF1942 in 32 on 32 matches, and they are chaos. At LAN parties, they aren't so bad, but online, it's usually a cluster mess. 20 on 20 is a nice number, and a good time.

But COD3 supporting 12 on 12 is good times too.

Yeah Frontlines Fuel of War will be 50 players is what OXM says. But I really don't like playing with the large crowds so 4 on 4 or 8 on 8 is fine by me.
