I thought the demo was horrible. The controls and animation for running are very very poor. It's very twitchy and very unpolished. The camera speed is bad and not being able to know whether or not I'm actually going to pick something up or not when I'm facing it and press RT is annoying as hell.

I was curious about this game but it got deleted from my HD really fast. Disappointing.

They put a bloody blue targeting box on whatever object you are looking at, and will pick up when pulling RT...did you need it pink and strobing or something? I'm not sure what else they could do.

Yeah, I know. My point is even with the target on the object I wanted it wouldn't always pick it up until I stood in a "magic" spot of some kind.

The demo's pretty solid. Spent most of the time playing with the physics and the Force. It's pretty much what I expected and wanted it to be. Still don't like the way he holds the saber but I can live with it. Definitely buying this at some point but there's just too many games coming out in September.

What's wrong with how he holds his lightsaber?

much better than I thought it would be, especially after that oxm review. There are issues for sure, but the main thing is that it's fun.

Obvious rental for me, which is great because I don't need to buy everything I like and could probably beat it in a renting session too.

Overall I was relieved that it was good.

Played it a couple times now and I'm liking it a lot. I can see where the "needs polishing" comments come from but I think it looks and plays very well. Hopefully since it only is the demo, that "polish" is applied for the final version.

But so far this was one of my most anticipated games of the year and still is.

This game got boring after 5 minutes. Not that I didn't like it, but I felt I could have been spending my time playing something much more enjoyable.

Agreed. Great game, but not good enough to distract me from COD or RB/GH.

I just loved the power that the apprentice had. Being able to throw around almost everything and being a killing machine was really fun. It's pretty long for a demo so you get to try out some combos and try out different ways of killing stormtroppers. Using force push to destroy everything around me was my favorite part. At one point I charged up the force push and the entire room I was in pretty much exploded. Just a really fun demo.

I'm really looking forward to the outdoor levels and fighting the Jedi in the full game.

Once you get used to the combos and using the force, the game becomes really fun after that. Definitely a game that'll get serious consideration when it gets ready to come out.
