Played this demo some more even this evening and I'm loving it. Can't wait till the 16th to get the retail version!

Ok this may sound weird but does it bother anyone else that when you kill a human with your light saber it does no physical damage to them? I drives me nuts. If I hit someone with a light saber it should slice right through them.

I played it for literally about 5 minutes but it seems cool. Great impressions I know.

Not really since it's rated teen.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Never heard of the game before yesterday - but I'm not sure I'm impressed.

I think it just felt hectic, and instead of having to think - I was pretty much just mashing buttons and killing everything. The controls just didn't feel right to me - it was hard to really pick up the object I wanted to, and to throw it in the direction I wanted to. I'd really just swing the stick, and hope it went where I wanted it to.

When it came down to it - it just kind of felt like a generic action game.

However, I do think the concept was pretty cool. I think if the controls didn't bother me so much I may have liked it better - but for some reason I just couldn't get used to them. I did better just button mashing than I did taking my time and actually intentionally doing things, which just isn't my cup of tea.

I had very similar feelings about the game. The force hold was hard for me too. The jedi powers were cool but the game definitely felt like a button masher. I'd like exercise some defensive strategy at some point but I'm not sure if that is necessary here.

Same thoughts here too. Run around getting shot while hacking people and force pushing people didn't do it for me. One thing that got me, I'm a jedi, but I can't both move and deflect the incoming shots with my light saber? I have to stand still to block? Or just run around and take the shots? Or did I miss something in the controls?

The movie they play at the end of the demo actually caught my attention more than the demo itself.

There is a block button. Check the controls again.

I think I am going to take all my money off this game except 5 dollars for the promo and get the collectors eddition of Fable2 instead. I really liked the game but the length really scares me.

                          That's disappointing to hear.
I was hoping for a Splinter Cell-esque Star Wars game.
Afterall, Sith don't go running around nilly-dilly leaving large messes. They get in and out and take care of business.

                          A Hitman/Star Wars-Sith game would be awesome.

I actually dug the demo. Yeah, it's mostly a button masher, but it's a Star Wars button masher! I'm hoping the game does require more strategy at some point that just slicing your way thru the masses. I also liked the force controls, they take some getting used to, but when you are faced with a group of blaster wielding rebels they are very cool. Try picking some up and tossing them over the edge

Probably not a Game Of The Year, but very cool none the less.

My biggest problem with this game is that the lightsabre is more like a baseball bat rather than an actual lightsabre. Other than that I enjoyed it. The controls will take a bit of getting used to though.

I played a little more this morning. The more you play the more stuff you learn how to do. There are a ton of combos and the impale is pretty neat. You have a ton of different moves and things to pull off. I may have to buy this button masher yet!
