I need to find an old copy of the PS1 port of the Return Fire. That was my all time favorite "beer and pretzels" game. It was so different and imaginative. Great game to play with a buddy.

I liked Way of Warrior. Never had a 3DO though.
Speaking of 3DO, anybody wanna pool our money together and buy the company? I got $5, only need about $30 more. We could put them to work on a Skillz game.Comment

Got ours for 400 dollars.
The bball game was a copy of the GREAT Arcade Classic "Run N Gun". It was called something similar. Boston's court looked GREAT with the wood pattern on the floor.
<hr /></blockquote><font class="post">That game was called "Slam and Jam95",I had it and loved it ,especially when the ball would swish through the net,and these new video games still can't get the swish part right.

Re: Did anyone else own a 3DO??
i dropped $600 on one....hoping the much anticipated at the time HIGH HEAT would debut...which of course it never did
i truley enjoyed RETURN FIRE as well....is the ps1 version a direct port?.....NEED FOR SPEED was great...ROAD RASH good stuff....TWISTED was pretty damn fun.....SLAM N JAM dominated alot of my multi player hours.......MADDEN was disapointing......there was a few other gold nuggets
but my fave may have been .... FIFA.......it was a fantastic version of the series.....or at least i remember it that way as i have rarley played the series since
all that aside trip should still refund me something for all the broken promises....................................................... ...............
NFL : Cincinnati Bengals & Tampa Bay Buccaneers
MLB : Reds & Devil Rays
NCAA : The Ohio State BuckeyesComment

Re: Did anyone else own a 3DO??
I got mine for Christmas and I think it was about $400. I wasn't exactly itching to have it, but my dad always new video games were a safe bet for presents. Annyway, I had Run and Gun, Madden and FIFA. They were all pretty good, but for as little as I like soccer, that FIFA was a lot of fun. I still remember playing with Italy all the time and their best player was Favre. I think my favorite game for the system, though, had to be the game show Twisted. My friends and I had so much fun with that thing. The characters were hilarious. Another thing that was pretty interesting about 3DO is thw controllers plugged into each other... great alternative to multitap.Comment

Re: Did anyone else own a 3DO??
I bought mine in early '94 for $699(OUCH!!!). I am also a sucker for shiny new toys. We liked Madden, but found the button response time a huge roadblock to sustained enjoyment. Road Rash was very enjoyable, but overall the 3D0 was the biggest console system bomb in video gaming history. Yes, it outbombed even ColecoVision.Comment
