Yes there's a chance. It's set up so absolutely anyone can play and enjoy it RPG fan or not and I'm sure even non-gamers could like it. It is exactly what they said it was,easy enough for anyone to pick up and play and deep enough for anyone that wants more out of it to get it.

Speaking of that exact thing I was pretty amazed when I discarded my physique stars (female character,wasn't looking very cool) and saw a huge increase in speed that I didn't even notice I had lost. The sword was swinging a lot faster,flourishes charged faster and I was able to get off bigger combos wich to some extent evened out not having the power there anymore.

Still haven't played by it myself yet but will today. Played it yesterday though in co-op mode with a buddy. Being a henchmen is pretty cool. He was hero and I was evil male, pretty funny combination. lol

Prepare to lose all track of time and end up playing for hours immersed in your fantasy world.

As a self-declared member of the OSers Addicted to Fable 2 club I'll start to get your membership card ready

I've sunk about 25 hours so far into Fable II, and I would say Lionhead has delivered what they originally wanted to with the first Fable for the most part. The biggest problem I have is the laggy and cumbersome menu. More clothing and a better map would've been nice too.

By the way, I saw a few pages back people talking about overwriting saves and whatnot. I'm not sure if that was ever answered, but I run 3 different characters. You definitely have more than one save slot available to experiment with. You just have to choose the slot you want to continue with when you go to continue a game.

If it was answered in the bunch of posts between then and now, sorry...but if I missed it, somebody still wondering may have missed it too

Yeah, I can kinda understand. I'm golden at bartending, where if I get on a roll it maxes out at 1125 (I think) per beer...that adds up fast.

Also, you can purchase a bunch of something on sale, and then go to somewhere that needs those and make some decent money.

I don't really worry about money...I can always just make more fairly easily. That may have been Lionhead's intention, but it's not a difficult system to abuse.

Well finally sat down with Fable 2 alone instead of co-op and wow!

Never was a big RPG guy till Mass Effect hit last year. Even after that I just thought Mass Effect series would be the only RPG I would ever play... boy was I wrong.

Fable is just amazing and I'm absolutely loving it. And the thing is I haven't even gotten far. I keep getting side tracked my exploration, making money, etc.

For now I'm playing with a normal character which probably be close to all good. 2nd play through I'll be pure evil to mix it up.

Quick question, I bought a bunch of books but I could only read a couple of them; the two dog ones. How do I read the other ones? Do I have to progress further in the game?

No problem, I have so much anyway. I have like a 14k to 15k income every 5 minutes. Lol. That adds up. There are some books that you read to get expressions (Aka seduction, come back to my place), other to train your dog (Aka Backflips, treasure and attack trainer), some will give you quest (Cant remember what ones they were but it will tell you about a place you visited and when you go there again its like there is stuff new about. It may just be me), and others that you just read yourself. To read a book just go to it in your inventory and hit right on your left stick. It will have a article or two about the book. I hope that helps.

Funny story, I am in Oakville and this gay guy is behind me asking me to roll in the hay with him. I am totally good and I just ignore him but he never left me alone. Well I proceeded to turn arround and slap him, the next thing I know I am being fined for murder because he died. Lmao. I slapped him so hard that it killed him. Just a heads up for anyone who dont know that slapping can cause serious injury.

Man the end was intense, I almost came to tears when the dog died. The three choices were really hard to make, I couldn't see not having my dog back. He just grew on me.
