Snowboard Game 360

I just bought a 360 and I am in the market for a snowboard game. Is Amped 3 the only game out? I am hesitant to purchase this game because of all "disney" like effects that I saw in a video clip. I was always found of the Cool Boarders series on the original PS, but have not seen a game released that has realistic tricks. Anyway, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I liked SSX3 for xbox and it is backwards compatible so it can be played on the 360.

I tried to play SSX3 in the 360 but could not get it to load. Do I need to purchase an adapter of some kind to make xbox games work?

You need have the Hard Drive on the 360 and a download to make the game work. The easiest way is being connected to xbox live, it should update automatically when you put the game in. You can also get the download form xbox.com. More info here: http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/games/back...patibility.htm

Even though Amped 3 has the "disney" type effects it's still a good snowboarding game. I like it, I wish those effects were taken out, but aside from that the game is solid. There are some good mountains and a handful of pros in the game, plus all the gear and boards are nice. If you can find a used copy it's worth picking up.

If you are looking for realistic tricks (or realistic anything) than SSX is NOT your game.

Amped 2 for the XBox 1 was a really good REALISTIC snowboarding game.
Amped 3 is just as cool techincally, but they had a very different visual styling too it, but by no means does it suck. :wink: It's worth the 30 bucks IF you like realistic snowboarding.

Thanks for the suggestions. I rented Amped 3 this weekend and I ended up enjoying it. Riding is where I spend most of my time so it will be nice to have a game for the off season.
