EASILY better than the first IMO....from the opening sequence it draws you in and the storyline is a lot better! Pick it up man, either way you will be satisfied!

its better than the first so far, nothing ground-breaking but the first was amazing. 2nd is better paced, more boss fights, and generally feels more polished.

if you own a ps2 you gotta pick this one up.

I agree. I'm not going to spoil anything for people who haven't played yet, but the first boss battle is very fun.

WOW. The first boss was cool. Pretty much the same gameplay as the first(thats a good thing), but more polished. I like it better than the first. So glad I kept my ps2 around. Between this and the show I will probably spend more time on my ps2 than my 360 for a while. Wouldn't be surprised if this wins game of the year again. Best single player game this year for me so far.

What I love about it is how it picks right up where the first one left off and it doesn't have you confused from the get go. I'm pretty far in now and it just keeps getting better and better...a lot of surprises! Oh, and WAY more boss battles to!

GOW2 is calling my name. I haven't had a chance to go pickup my pre-order, I'll have to go tomorrow or Friday.

How is this on the PS3 for those that have tried it on there?

my p.o.s. ps2 drive finally died last week when I was playing yakuza. So I'll have to either get a new one, or try to see if I can put it on my HDD like the other games I have.

gotta get this game.

I think they said only 480p steve. You also need to have it hooked up through compent cables to get the 480p, dont quote me on this, but I think thats the way it was going to be.
