ACE COMBAT 6 (360)

I was on gamespot and saw this article. Here is a piece from it

Namco Bandai did not respond to requests for comment as of press time.

Namco has registered a trademark for the name "Beautiful Katamari Damacy," adding legitimacy to the Katamari picture. Porting PC games to the Xbox 360 has so far been proven to be relatively easy--a good sign for Warhammer fans who want to see Mark of Chaos on the 360. As for Ace Combat, a 360 version would be a coup of sorts, as the flight-combat series has almost exclusively taken off from Sony platforms.

Three possible games to hit the 360? Anyone hear of this?

My god I would love to see Ace Combat on the 360..Especially XBL

Yeah it looks possible and I think Tekken will eventually make it's way to the 360 as well.

Yeah it looks possible and I think Tekken will eventually make it's way to the 360 as well.

I read that a few days ago. All of the Sony exclusives are long gone from 3rd parties for the most part.

I think Sony is really putting a lot of effort this time into their 1st Party games and concentrating on new IP's. IMO that's the best way to go. Right now Sony has a pretty deep and diverse 1st Party lineup heading to the PS3.

I just hope Incog does Twisted Metal: Black 2 on the PS3.

Not really Rod, because now Sony is going to be losing tons of potential sales. If someone already owns the 360, there is no real reason for them to run out and spend $600 for the PS3 if they can play the same game on their 360.

The reason I think it's better for Sony to concentrate their development money on their own IP's, is because it's a given that a next gen title that shows up on the 360 will probably be on the PS3 as well.

I personally prefer a fresh or new IP over a sequel unless it's Halo or Motorstorm 2.

The creation of new original IP's can be good for long term purposes moving into the PS4. This way they will have some proven franchises to add to Jack, Ratchet, Socom, Getaway, God of War, MLB0x, etc. They need to get some games out this year or else it could be bad for them.

Agreed and the games (1st party and multi's) will come this year.

Ace Combat 4 was the first game on the PS2 that made me go OMG.

I think it's a major oversight if some of you think that losing exclusives is good for Sony in any way. You're putting the cart before the horse. The reason why Sony will have to focus on first-party titles more is because of the lack of third-party exclusives. Off the record, nobody at Sony would say that losing third party exclusives is a good thing, and no amount of spin will make it so.

The PS2 was successful largely due to 3rd party exclusives. The Jaks, Ratchets, Slys, GOW etc didn't come until later in the PS2's life. Games like FF, the GTA titles (which were Sony exclusive for months before going multi-platform) and early on, the EA titles (which spelled death for the DC) were the foundation that Sony built the PS2's success on.

As the year goes on, we will be hearing about more and more 3rd party exclusives going multi-platform. An easy prediction to make.

And

It looks like AC6 is going to be the major cover story of Famitsu 360 coming out next week.
