    Remember MDK 2 (Dreamcast)?

This was probably my all time favorite game on the Dreamcast. They need to make a new one for the Xbox 360, PS3 and everything. One of the most creative games I've ever played.

I liked the first one better. The visual style was amazing. I don't understand why they changed it for the more cartoony look.

I liked the first one, never played the second. I can't remember if I beat the first one or not, or if I just got really close.

You're thinking of Apocalypse, a canceled game that was turned into Tony Hawk's Pro Skater.

I remember renting it and playing the first level, then quitting.

I didn't really like it when I had it, but that's just me. I don't even really like gears of war, so it might just be my tastes.

I have to give a thumbs up to one of the toughest, grueling, insane... and also one of the greatest games I ever played.

The platform-jumping and sniping parts with Kurt were cool, which all followed along the lines of the original MDK. But it was the dog Max and Doc Hawkins levels that made this game great to me.

Micromanaging the use of fuel in that ******* rocketpack on the back of Max is one of the many unforgettable moments I had playing that game. Those parts were always tough to pass. Other than that, his levels were all about gunning fools down with the six-pack of uzis.

And solving some of those puzzles with the Hawkins was a big challenge. Some puzzles were even annoying as hell to try and figure out. The puzzles where you had to run around to different areas of a location, then jump on some buttons in the right sequence and on time -- all while avoiding enemies who are trying to kill you, by the way -- or else you were forced to start over. But man, was it also fun.

So the first one was all Kurt? I enjoyed that level in MDK2.

Anyone know if MDK1 for the PC is joystick compatible?

I seem to recall playing with a gamepad on the PC...That was a long time ago though.
